The Rural Municipality of Rosemount No. 378 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910.
Within its boundaries are several unincorporated communities and localities: Cando, Lett, Naseby, Palo, Salter and Traynor. Cando was once a village, but it was dissolved as one on December 31, 2005.
